Columbus Baby Photographer | Dexter's Nine Month Session | Grove City Photographer

I've been photographing baby Dexter since he was in his mommy's tummy. This is his third milestone session since his newborn session last year. He's growing up so fast! This time around he was a little shy at first, and needed hug breaks with his mama. He loved getting tickles from his mama - it was just about the only thing to make him smile. I sure love his serious face though. 

His mama requested a dreamy shot like this. I love how it turned out! 

I love offering a few different looks with milestone sessions. My Grove City studio has some neutral clothing items for babies 3-12 months, timeless props, an all white space, and a bed setup. I usually like to offer three or four looks to really make a gallery unique and special for my clients. 

Baby piggies are a must for me.

Pink or Blue? | Our Gender Reveal | Columbus Ohio Photographer

Are you guys prepared to watch me act like an insanely emotional mess? I don't think I fully expected to feel so overly joyed and surprised with what color was inside our beautifully decorated cake. 

A few weeks ago (I know, I'm delayed) my sister threw together a wonderful gender reveal party with the help of some of my friends and family. The entire morning getting ready I kept telling myself it had to be a boy. It had to be a boy because I was hoping for a girl. In the beginning of my pregnancy I was feeling so blessed to even be expecting I didn't want to hope for either gender, but simply that my baby stayed healthy. Further along in my pregnancy I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to have a boy or a girl. We picked named for both and thought about what they would be like. Jump forward to the gender party - it was almost a tie between the votes for a boy and a girl. Girl leading the way by just a few points. I think my sister was more antsy than I was, because I was busy eating snacks (pregnancy hunger is no joke). She told me to stop eating so we could cut the cake. OK OK.
