Wiley's Surprise Six Month Session at Homestead Park | Columbus Baby Photographer

Say hello to Wiley! I've been photographing Wiley since he was in his mommy's tummy last year! His parents own a farm so Homestead Park in Hilliard was the perfect location for his six month session. Between the trees, growing flower field, white barn and tractor we had the perfect rustic backdrop! 

Wiley's mom, Brandi, wanted to surprise her husband with these photos for Father's Day. It took two rain date reschedules but we made it happen in May! It was so warm that day but when evening rolled around we got the most perfect breeze. It was plenty warm enough for Mr. Wiley to go shirtless in some photos to really show off his baby rolls. 

Wiley loved sitting in this chair and watching the cars drive by. That meant getting his attention was no easy feat. You don't even want to know the sounds his mom and I made to get this smile that lasted 1.2 seconds. Haha!

Yall know I can't miss out on some baby toe photos. 

I sure hope Wiley's dad loved getting this photo for Father's Day! Farmer in the making right here. 

I haven't used this old fashion tub in so long. Wiley's mom LOVED it! 

I sneaked mom into a few photos because sometimes you need some snuggle time. 

That one big drool drop on his chin. 

I mean, how can you go wrong with a kissy duck face? 

We've been incorporating this family apple crate into all of Wiley's photos since he was a newborn. 

One last smiley hurrah with Mom before the end of our session!

Karina's Newborn Session | Grove City Ohio Newborn Photographer | Columbus Newborn Photographer

I met Karina's mom, Melanie, about 4-5 years ago at my office job. We immediately connected and became friends. Her sweet personality and fun nature made it easy to get to know her. Over the years we lost touch here and there until I found out she was expecting her first child. I was over the moon for her! She and her fiance booked a session with me when Karina was just turning a month old so I wasn't sure if she would be sleepy and squishy like a newborn. I was completely ready for a bigger, alert baby when they walked into my Grove City home and I saw this tiny peanut in her car seat. Still just 8 pounds and some ounces, she slept almost her entire session! She loved LOVED being swaddled though, and who could blame her?! 

Snuggly parent photos like this give me the warm feels. 

Doesn't Karina look like a little snow angel in this photo below? 

Such a big smile for this happy Mama. 

These toe photos were taken at the end of our session when Karina was starting to get hungry. She definitely wanted to kick those feet around. I'm sure she wondered why this crazy lady was wrapping up her feet like a mummy. 

It was such a joy to work with Miss Karina and her family. I loved every moment of swaddling, cuddling and photographing her!
