Claire is such a great big sister. She is so fascinated by her little brother's tiny fingers and toes.

Roberta sat with Eli in his nursery for a few minutes. As she rocked him and watched him sleep, she felt a wave of emotion and started to tear up. I'm so blessed to have been there to capture it. 

I've known Roberta for years, and she has always looked so graceful. Motherhood just enhances her beauty.

Elijah Clay Albert was born on August 2, 2014 at 2:37 PM weighing 6 lb and 5.5 oz

Watching Steve with Eli is precious. Although watching him get Eli into his little ninja baby outfit (shown earlier on) was priceless. Who knew baby outfits were so confusing. Haha

One of my faves below. We kept hoping for a smile and just when I thought it wasn't going to happen... this. Adorbs!

Back to School || Columbus, Ohio Child Photography

I first met the Leonard family last winter for some photos at their home. Their girls Addison and Julia are so sweet and precious. Here is a little throwback photo from their family session last winter. So adorable!

I was thrilled when Amber (aka Mom) contacted me about "back to school" photos of her girls and their cousins. We kept checking the weather all weekend and had our fingers crossed for no rain that day. It managed to rain and storm all day except for the hour we were at the park. Everyone was game for taking a chance and it paid off. These kiddos look absolutely precious and the grass never looked greener. Of course the moment we got in our cars to leave it poured!

Addison starts kindergarten this year. I couldn't believe it, she looks so grown up!

And isn't this chalkboard so cute? Amber and Jill (other mama) brought it with them. Great idea!

Emerson is Addison's cousin and she's starting kindergarten this fall as well. Class of what? I feel so old. 

Emerson was such a natural in front of the camera. Look at that pose!

Jill is going to kill me for posting this photo even though she looks gorgeous. I love capturing sweet moments that would otherwise be called ordinary. Love!

Session favorite below. As much as parents (and myself as well) love a perfectly posed and smiling child, I can't help but love the moments in between. The kids were getting restless so their moms and I started asking them to say random phrases and I'd occasionally bust out singing "Let it Go" to get them laughing. The wagon + apples + trees is so perfect!

I know, I keep commenting on each photo. But I just love how much Addison's brown eyes pop in this one.

Last, but not least, Mr. Future Heart Breaker. Otherwise know as Sam. Those big eyes, his pose and those shoes. Adorbs!

I had so much fun braving the clouds and rain with these cousins and their mamas. I can't wait to photograph them again! <3
