A Floral Baby Shower at the Grove City Community Club

The moment Rick and I found out we were being blessed with a little girl due in August my sister and I went wild planning my shower. She knew I wanted florals for her nursery so we decided to go with a floral themed shower. She always does a wonderful job decorating so I knew all the details would be beautiful. All my family and friends came to celebrate Miss Katie with a ton of delicious food and desserts. We ate, played games and I opened what seemed like an endless amount of gifts. Rick and I are extremely lucky to have such a supportive group of loved ones in our lives. A huge thank you to my sister, loved ones who brought delicious food, helped set up, clean up, and everyone who brought Miss Katie a gift!

Meet baby Cooper!

I met Cooper's parents long before Cooper was born. In 2013 they reached out to me to photograph their first pregnancy announcement, followed by a newborn session in 2014 for their first son. Flash forward to 2017 and I'm photographing their second son's newborn photos! We went with a lifestyle type newborn session in my Grove City studio for some cozy, relaxed photos of family, parents and baby.

I find this photo of mama and baby so dreamy. The sheer curtains letting the light flood into my studio and their closed eyes. Love.

I feel like I caught a little smirk out of Cooper in this last photo. This was the only frame where his lips curled up a little bit.
