Paige reached out to me by email to schedule their second baby’s newborn session. Her baby was due in a few weeks and she hoped I still had some availability around her due date. I run my business full time and have weekday and (limited) weekend openings for newborn sessions. I was able to schedule their session within baby Grady’s first 14 days of life. Those first two weeks babies tend to be sleepier and easily curled up. This doesn’t mean I won’t schedule a session with an older baby. I have photographed older babies who sleep wonderfully during their session. Even if they are awake, it makes for beautiful portraits full of eye contact!

Lindsay contacted me to schedule a maternity and newborn session bundle for the arrival of their first child. I met Lindsay years ago - her cousin is one of my dear friends! I was so excited when I heard from her via email! We scheduled her sessions right away and started planning both of their sessions. They really wanted a summery, floral session to match their little girl’s nursery theme. I told her I had the perfect location in Hilliard - Homestead Park. Their wildflowers are beautiful at sunset.
