The folks at Brookshire did a wonderful job listening to my visions of my dream wedding and following through with every detail. I wanted lace, cream, hydrangeas, and yes... I wanted our dog Maddie sitting on the cake made out of fondant. I walked up to the cake, peeked around the side and saw her sitting there.
I asked Rick 31359603 times not to get cake on my face. Did he listen? Nope. Luckily it was just a little dab of icing. I let him live.
At this point the lights were dim, the drinks had been poured (and re-poured), and the dancing could begin!
I think the kiddos stole the show with their dance moves. ;)
One of my dance-loving friends had crutches from a running injury and refused to let that stop him from boogying. Haha!
A big thank you to our friend, Zack, for teaching us how to Waltz. I felt like J. Lo in "Shall We Dance?" Haha!
My sister made coloring books so the kids wouldn't get bored. Love this!
I've had so much fun reliving our wedding day with these six blog posts. I'm so glad to have had the chance to share our special day with all of you!
