My friend and client, Cristina, decided to start a maternity gown business this year and wanted to put a stylized shoot together in my studio. I was game the moment she contacted me! We found a make up artist and Kadie, our expecting mama, to show off these lovely gowns. Let me tell you, we had the most fun time together being creative, listening to Emily's (makeup artist) awesome music jams, and enjoying an afternoon of photo-taking! Something special happens when a group of women get together. Laughter is bound to happen!
This was our last shot of the day (below). I don't even know what was said to make her laugh but it ended up being one of my favorites of the day! Just goes to show that laughter in photos brings out the best version of ourselves.
It was so much fun really getting creative with posing and different "setups" in my studio space. I used parts of my studio I never thought would be photo-worthy. Boy was I wrong!
There may have been a hair dryer used to get this subtle wind-blown look. Cristina, our gown maker, had so much fun being in charge of the wind-blown look! Haha!
Kadie, I have never seen a more beautiful expecting mother in my life! I can't wait to see your little boy when he arrives in a few short weeks. I wish you all the very best!
